About Soft Dental Grips

In 2008, The Tony Riso Company, a leader in dental ultrasonics,  grew our product line with the acquisition of Acushy Product Company.  We are expanding the selection and marketing under the name Soft Dental Grips.

The original company was started in 2001, by a dental hygienist, Melanie Beck, who noticed the onset of symptoms due to repetitive motion injury syndrome.   So she devised a grip that would retrofit existing dental instruments.  These grips allow instruments to be held with less muscular force, thus reducing work related musculoskeletal disorders.
